Rence leads AAXIS’ Digital Practice, which includes Commerce Consulting, Digital Strategy, Analytics & Big Data, Digital Marketing, User Experience, and Interactive Services. His focus is on solving his clients’ most pressing challenges for achieving online growth and profitability for B2C and B2B businesses.
Rence brings nearly 20 years of experience leading Multi-Channel Commerce, Marketing, and e-Business initiatives for premium, global consumer brands in a wide variety of industries, including luxury goods, apparel, footwear, accessories, sporting goods, consumer electronics, and digital goods.
Prior to joining AAXIS Commerce, he held leadership positions at Fortune 500® leaders such as Apple Inc, adidas Group, TaylorMade Golf, adidas Golf, Checkpoint Software, and Borland International. His experience working with successful technology start-ups includes multi-channel, e-service management, and web software development.
Most recently, he served as SVP, Global Marketing & eCommerce at Altec Lansing where he led the vision, strategy, and execution of the company’s global marketing and eCommerce efforts.
Fluent in Spanish and German, Rence holds a BA degree in Cognitive Science/Artificial Intelligence/Neuroscience and a BA degree in Analytical Philosophy from University of California, Santa Cruz, and he attended the International Business program at the University of Vienna, Austria and UCLA Anderson School of Management.
